Those entitled earned on average up to R$ 2,766 a month in 2024, worked at least 30 days with a registered contract that year and have been registered in PIS/Pasep for at least 5 years. The amount ranges from about R$ 136 to R$ 1,621, depending on months worked, and can be withdrawn until December 30, 2026.*

How to check and withdraw

1. Open the Digital Work Card app and go to "Benefícios" › "Abono salarial".
2. Check whether an amount has been released and how it will be paid.
3. Those with a Caixa account usually receive an automatic credit; others can withdraw through the Caixa Tem app, lottery outlets or branches.
4. Public servants (Pasep) receive it through Banco do Brasil.

Not showing up? Possible reasons

• The employer did not correctly report data in eSocial or RAIS.
• Average income exceeded the limit.
• Registration is less than 5 years old.

If the error is the employer's, ask them to correct it and follow up in the app; release may happen in a supplementary calendar.

Does someone who worked only 2 months in 2024 receive it?

Yes, proportionally: about 2/12 of the minimum wage. A month with 15 days or more of work counts in full.

Will the income limit keep falling?

Yes. The 2024 amendment provides for a gradual reduction until it reaches 1.5 minimum wages.
